Cryptology Resources
Please check back for some necessary (definitely not sufficient) resources on Cryptology.
Free and Open Source Software (FOSS)
"Open Eyes ... Open Minds ... Open Source"
I am an enthusiast about learning and using FOSS in my teaching and research activities. My toolbox of choice for mathematics and cryptology is Sage. I will try to maintain a list of references dedicated to Sage and a few other FOSS tools.
Passions and Hobbies
I am passionate about Mathematics and I guess that has compelled me to switch from Engineering to Mathematics in my graduate studies. Apart from that, I have loads of leisurely activities. To name a few, they are:
- Photography: I am developing my new hobby of snapping. You can find some of my favorite photos at my Picasa Profile.
- Magic: I love performing card tricks, and I am obsessed with collecting card decks as well. You can view some at this link.
- Web Development: I design and develop websites professionally. Drop me an email if you are interested.
- Sketching: I like to sketch portraits in my free time, and you can find some sketches at this link.
- Shayaari: I like writing Shayaari (Hindi/Urdu poetry), some of which can be found at this link.
- Recitation: I love reciting Bengali poems and had once created a Bengali Poems Archive [will be online soon].
- Reading: I have an obsession with reading any kind of book I can lay my hands on.
- Cooking: I love developing new recipes, mostly out-of-ordinary, especially for non-vegetarian dishes, cakes and cocktails.
- Karate: I practiced Shotokan Karate at the Shotokan Karate Club of University of Washington for some time and I am a white-belt cadet. Prior to this, I was a yellow-belt student of Goju-Ryu Karate, at the Karate Club of University of Waterloo.
- Games: I like playing Ping-Pong, Cricket, Softball, Pool, Carom and Soccer.
Travel Schedule
Honestly speaking, traveling is very close to my heart. I do not generally miss an opportunity to visit new places, and revisit places that I have been to and liked. My current travel schedule, however, is occupied mainly by conferences, workshops and meetings related to my work and Doctoral studies. Someday, I would like to fill it up with unconditional trips just for pleasure :)
