Worked on RSA Factorization, RSA Partial Key Exposure attacks, and RSA Side-Channel Attacks (cold-boot) at the Cryptology Research Group of ISI Kolkata in the capacity of a Project Linked Research Person during Dec 2009 - Aug 2010.
Graduate [Univ. of Washington]
Worked on a course project: "Elliptic Curves from a Complex Perspective", with other graduate students Tom Boothby and Aly Deines, during a Complex Analysis [Math 536] course at University of Washington.
Worked on a course project: "Combinatorics of Abelian Varieties", during a Computational Number Theory [Math 583e] course at University of Washington.
Worked on a course project: "Special Purpose Factoring Devices", during a Computational Number Theory [Math 583e] course at University of Washington.
Worked on a course project: "Linear and Differential Cryptanalysis of DES", with another graduate student Slava Chernyak, during a Cryptanalysis [CSE 599R] course at University of Washington. One can find the talk and the relevant codes (Java) at this link.
Graduate [Univ. of Waterloo]
I have completed my Masters Thesis under the supervision of Prof Yu-Ru Liu and Prof Wentang Kuo. I worked within the Number Theory group of the Department of Pure Mathematics, University of Waterloo.
Masters Thesis: "Artin's Conjecture: Unconditional Approach and Elliptic Analogue". [Masters Talk]
Along with another graduate student Patrice Camire, I also worked a bit on the extension of the Composite Moduli version of Artin's conjecture to function fields during my Masters at University of Waterloo.
Worked on a course project: "Lattice Attacks on Cryptosystems", for two courses, Computational Number Theory and Mathematics of Public Key Cryptography, at University of Waterloo.
Undergraduate [Jadavpur Univ.]
My undergraduate research was to develop and implement a novel Topology Management Algorithm for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks. I worked under the supervision of Prof Mrinal K Naskar, Jadavpur University.
Undergraduate Dissertation: "Topology Management Algorithms for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks". [Seminar Talk]
I worked under the supervision of Prof Amit Konar on Image Processing and Video Compression based on the H.264 Video Codec during my Undergraduate studies.
I worked under Prof Anup K Bandyopadhyay on the Generation and Applications of a Minimum Steiner Tree during my Undergraduate studies at Jadavpur University.
